The Paterson Great Falls Rotary club is a relatively young club. We were chartered on June 30, 2009. We are part of Rotary International which was established on February 23, 1905 and now numbers 34,000 clubs comprised of 1.2 million members representing 200 countries. Rotary was founded as both a vehicle for networking and an opportunity for service. Rotary is respected world wide for its humanitarian efforts, peace keeping initiatives and commitment to voluntary service.
The Paterson Great Falls Rotary club is a non-profit service organization comprised of leaders in our community working together to make a difference. We have been very active, supporting our local Veterans, celebrating Paterson athletes who have given back to our community, sponsoring food drives, AIDS awareness, anti-bullying seminars, participating in housing initiatives, sponsoring holiday parties for preschoolers, gathering prom clothes for students in Paterson and much more.
We also support and participate in national and international humanitarian efforts. Our club has sponsored three Gift of Life recipients, supported a water purification effort in the Dominican Republic and aided in the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays at The Barnyard and Carriage House 754 Totowa Rd., Totowa NJ at 6:15. Membership is by invitation only. If you would like to attend a meeting and learn more about our club, please contact us via e-mail at: Information@patersongreatfallsrotaryclub.org or phone at (973) 827-4575.
