Passaic County Clerk Danielle Ireland
October 15 @ 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Passaic County Clerk
Danielle Ireland-Imhof was elected to the county-wide office of Passaic County Clerk in November 2018. The County Clerk is one of three elected constitutional offices established by the New Jersey Constitution along with the County Sheriff and County Surrogate Court Judge.
As County Clerk, Ireland-Imhof oversees the provision of a wide range of services. A few are: the recording of records relating to all property transactions in Passaic County’s 16 municipalities, processing new passport applications, assisting individuals looking to become a notary public, issuing veterans’ identification cards, filing Business Trade Names, processing vote by mail ballots and certifying the results of all elections within the County to the New Jersey Secretary of State. Her office is sure to be utilized at some point by all who reside or do business in Passaic County.
Ireland-Imhof strives to ensure the services of her office are accessible and convenient to the 520,000 residents of Passaic County. She does this by engaging with municipalities, community organizations, colleges, senior homes and other settings regularly to hold outreach office hours to remotely provide many of the office’s services. In a county with such large geographical spread, the outreach office hours offer county residents increased access to the services provided by Clerk Ireland-Imhof’s office.
Prior to being elected as Passaic County Clerk, Ireland-Imhof served in an appointed capacity of Business Administrator and Municipal Clerk for Prospect Park, New Jersey. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Danielle earned her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University on a full academic scholarship, and later received her Master’s in Public Administration, with highest distinction, also from Rutgers University. Additionally, she holds her New Jersey state license as a Registered Municipal Clerk. Danielle Ireland-Imhof has been recognized by Insider NJ as a “Millennial to Watch”, is a recipient of numerous recognitions celebrating individuals advancing the public sector, has published work in the New Jersey Municipal Management Association’s professional publication, and is frequently invited to speak on public service leadership and public sector responsibilities to both private and public sector audiences.
Danielle truly appreciates the opportunity to serve and strives to consistently personify good government and is grateful to continue her family legacy of public service. She attributes her passion for serving the public by providing essential services and quality of life enhancements to her parents and grandparents who served as guiding examples during her formative years. Danielle is the proud wife of Louis Imhof, III and they reside in Hawthorne, New Jersey.
